Message :As Marshall so eloquently wrote, it would relegate the car to a higher social class, thus leading to more expensive, and usually more tasteful, modifications.
I don't think FnF qualifies as "higher social class" and "tasteful". If you argue this point, then we are talking about totally different "Supra Syndromes" so drop it.

:you would not expect someone to purchase a $7500 TT Z and proceed to spend $15k building the motor, upgrading the turbos, brakes, suspension, etc.
Actually, that is EXACTLY my plan, to purchase a $1500 2+2 Z and drop $$$$$ into it.

:Why do you think there's so many Supras out there with single turbos, large twins, built motors, etc.? It's because the people who can afford the Supras can also afford to build them up. On the other hand, you see very few built-up Zs...
Because it is easier (and possibly relatively cheaper) to make big horsepower on a Supra than it is on a Z, not because they can afford it. In order for us Z guys to make big horsepower, we'd have to replace lots of things among injectors. Supras already come with such "upgraded" items. And yes, there are Z's also. Just look around. It's just that many of them choose to stay stock-bodied, so they don't stand out as much as Supras.

And still, NO WISH HERE.
